What right do I have to protect myself if my employer violated my HIPPA rights?

What protection do you need? If the violation already occurred, there is nothing to protect. You could report the incident and your employer could face fines and other sanctions.

Typically the employer does not violate HIPAA, the doctor does. Can you give us a little info to help you better?
