Ok to make it short and simple.. My son and his girlfriend at the time which was ten years ago next month gave birth to their daughter. It was a mess, cause they were both under age. A lot of things happened but any ways he is 27 now and she is 25. Now they live in differerent states. He never really got to see his daughter after she was about a year old for the girls parents always keep her in hideing. Well we found her. My son has always paid his child support from the beginning. Well she wrote to him and said that if he were to move back to where she is he would not be able to see his daughter but that she would let him visit, she at the time told him that he would not be able to tell his daughter that he is her father.. He has always wanted to be part of her life. I guess my question is What can he do to get visation and can he do it from another state. He is so torn apart. There is a lot more to this to. We don't even thinks she has his daughter, we think she is living with her grandparents.

Let me see, he gets a court ordered visitation for his child. Since he has not seen the child in a while, the court will make it supervised to start most likely to get his a chance to know the child. * court supervised not in "her" home.

After that he will get regular visits in his home, and longer visits also.

If they try and refuse, he takes them back to court to find them in contempt, if the child's mother still refuses, the judge will start giving her fines to pay or even put her in jail if she will not.

He needed to do that when you said they were "hiding" the girl, they can't do that, and he could have stopped them if he wanted to
