I have two step-daughters who I have raised since they were 5 and 2. They are both British nationals and have their green cards to live in the US. Their natural father has no parental rights in England, my wife and him were never married. He pays no child support. How would I go about adopting them. I am in the military and stationed in Maryland.

Because this involves adopting children who are citizens of another country, you really should consult a lawyer.

Domestic adoption is hard enough, but to adopt internationally without a lawyer would really just be crazy.

There should be legal counsel on base that can help you with this.
