Hi - on my office computer I cannot install programs. I am trying to use pcb portable to upload my photos to my machine (as I don't have machine/internet at home) in the office but it errors out citing problems w/ registration media then asks me to use the pcb portable maintenance tool - don't know what this is at all. Can anyone help me get my photos from my camera to my computer w/o having to install anything as my IT guys won't give me administrator privileges... many thanks

Before going further, check on the company policy for bringing in personal removable media/cameras and connecting them to your PC. This can be locked down quite a bit depending on if your company is publicly traded, works on govt contracts, or is the insurance, medical or legal fields. You may find yourself facing disciplinary action or dismissal.
