I have the answer I just do not know the book got it.:confused:
Its 3n-24=14-30n and I have to solve it.
The answer should be 1 and 5 over 33.
Can anyone help me THX!

Add 30n to both sides, add 24 to both sides. Now simplify and tell me what you get.

3n-24 = 14-30n
33n-24 = 14
33n = 38
n = 38/33
n = 1.15
