I recently had a frenoctomy on my tongue and am waiting for it to heal... I'm still quite swollen and am having trouble using my tongue.. its only been about 6 days... is this normal?

You should call your dentist. I wouldn't think that you should still be having problems 6 days later. Try rinsing with some warm salt water.
