I need to know what I can do to get help with my son.
He is 19 and going to job corp. He is getting his High School diploma and GED and Welding trade school. He is also taking college classes and doing great in all. Which he did not do in high school.

I fought for his special ed/ IEP and he was granted this in 10th grade.
He needed it before that, but it took that long a fight.

I make 18. Hr and his father is no longer helping out financially. He used to give us 488. Month.
Just to get him to school / insurance 117. Phone 40. Gas 120. To San Jose, not counting oil changes, he needs tires, food, clothes, ETC.

We need help
Do I have a case to get child support still or GA?

I do not want to ask him to not do his college classes so he can work instead...
He is slower and needs all he can get now.

Please advise... Many thanks, and GOD BLESS

Over 19 your child can go to get help but has to be for him its like welfare but not but he will have to go through welfare to get it, but with you making as much as you do I don't know if he will be able to draw it... and as for child support I wouldn't know I know if you file it and they don't pay and the child is over age then you can but if you haven't ever then I don't think so

With special needs support can be extended (in some States) for literally the lifetime of the child.

What State?
