The question today is, I had a carpenter doing some remodel work on my house (i.e sheetrock, tap&texturing) in the process of doing the tap&texturing he did not put down any
Floor covering to prevent the excess mud ending up on the floor, which I asked him about and
He said it would be no problem cleaning up much to my surprise when started to take the mud off the floor it is not only time consuming, but it looks like the floor will not as shiny as
Was before the work was done.
Will I be able sand and stain it back to almost new,as scraping to get the mud off is dulling the
Surface and if I can not refinish it back to almost new is it fair to deduct some money from
His final payment to replace or refinish floor.
This man has over 15yrs doing this type of work, thank,s
