Hello
I am looking for the words of a song of Ronnie Bird. Can somebody help me. The song is "sad soul". I write here-under all the words I have understood but it is very fast and I'm french ! Everybody knows french people are not very smart with foreign languages !

*****
Sad soul and a tired mind
Going to leave this world behind
Xxxx xxxx in eternity
Xxx xxx of a star for me

Deep blue with a golden glow
Shining bright like winter snow
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx white
Deep down in eternal nights

The sun and the moon and the million stars that are waiting there for you
Reaching out for the velvet touch who’ll make a path way through

Sad soul and a tired mind
Must believe in the peace I'll find
With fingers of orange fire
Xxx xxxx of my heart's desire

I’m blind to the parting tear
Though my place was never here
Too near in the early dawn
For the place where the shadow‘s born

The sun and the moon and the million stars that are waiting there for you
Reaching out for the velvet touch who’ll make a path way through

Sad soul and a tired mind
Going to leave this world behind
Xxx xxx in eternity
Xxx xxx of a star for me
*****

If you know this song, please help me ! And if you want help me but don't know the song, I can send you the mp3.

It seems this is a popular request on the net. Best I can offer is what someone else understood to be the words. Fills in some of your blanks:

Sad soul and a tired mind
Gone leave this world behind
We... in eternity
Grab hold of a star for me

Deep blue with a golden glow
Shining bright like a winter snow
...
Deep down in eternal nights

The sun and the moon and the million stars that are waiting there for you
Reaching out with a velvet touch will make a path way through

Sad soul and a tired mind,
Must believe in the peace I'll find
With fingers of orange fire
Grab hold of my heart's desire

I'm blind through the parting tear
Though my place was never here
... in the early dawn
For the place where the shadow is ?born?

The sun and the moon and the million stars that are waiting there for you
Reaching out with a velvet touch will make a path way through

Sad soul and a tired mind
Gone leave this world behind
We... in eternity
Grab hold of a star for me

Thank you for your answer. Some more words are welcome !

But maybe if somebody who speaks currently english listen to the song, it would be very easy for him to understand the words we french don't catch.
Here after I put the address of the official site of the movie "Marock". In the right bottom of the screen you can choose between two songs "shake your groove" and of course... "Sad soul" !

http://www.marock-lefilm.com/

Could you please try to do that ? It would be very kind of you.

Thanks a lot and excuse me for my english which is very "approximate" !

(And, of course, if somebody need some help for a french song, I would be glad to help him in the same way !)

Well, I've done as you asked, and this is the best I can come up with:

Sad soul and a tired mind
Going to (Going to) leave this world behind
Way out in eternity
Grab hold of a star for me

Deep blue with a golden glow
Shining bright like a winter snow
... it's December white
Deep down in eternal nights

The sun and the moon and the million stars that are waiting there for you
Reaching out with a velvet touch will make a path way through

Sad soul and a tired mind,
Must believe in the peace I'll find
With fingers of orange fire
Grab hold of my heart's desire

Im blind through the parting tear
Though my place was never here
Too near in the early dawn
For the place where the shadow is born

The sun and the moon and the million stars that are waiting there for you
Reaching out with a velvet touch will make a path way through

Sad soul and a tired mind
Going to leave this world behind
Way out in eternity
Grab hold of a star for me

I've probably listened to it 30 times now, and I still can't figure out the first two words of the 3rd line in the 2nd stanza.
