I have a citroen saxo vtr , when I'm driving along and make a left or right turn there is a squeaking noise from the front of the car , slower I go the slower the squeak gets , faster faster it gets, It does not squeak when the car is still and I'm turning left or right. I've had the car on axel stands put into gear and drove front wheels turning left and right No squeak , it seen to squeek when there is weight on the front wheels and in motion , Its not baring noise (humming) its not drive shaft nuckle (clicking)
Give me a clue guys driving me mad now

Thoughts:

. Brake sensors are making noise, due to worn, dragging pads. Replace pads, lubricate caliper pins, and change brake fluid.

. Power steering is making noise, under load. Replace power steering fluid.

. CV Joints are bad. In reverse, drive in small circles--first with the wheel turned to the right, then to the left. Repack or replace half axles.

. Small chip of wood lodged between the disc and the hub. This happened to me once, except mine made a screeching sound when I backed up. Remove wheel and hub.

Picked up a Citreon Saxo in Paris and drove around Europe for several weeks--great little cars. Took me a little while to locate the push-buttons to the windows. Ended up being out of sight on the front of the center console. Once I got used to it, I really liked it.

This is probably the little metal shield covering the bottom ball joint rubbing on the disc when turning. Just bend the tag away from the disc. Hope this helps.
