As far as I know, you can't view the actual websites without going there. The "history" shows you where someone has been but then you have to click onto those sites to see what they contain.
Is that what you are asking?
If someone has deleted the history you have to buy special software to do this.

Hi, johnhandcock!
I'll approach this from the standpoint that you are wanting to know this for a PC rather than a Mac computer.
If you know how to get into Safe Mode, you'll be able to find and view more things than when you just turn on your computer to use it without pressing any other buttons other than the "On" switch.
Even if the "History" in a web browser has been deleted, you might be able to find websites that have been visited if, after going into Safe Mode, you do a search for things using the Search function that you might have, depending on the computer that you have, for things such as "Temp", "Temporary", "Cookies" and "Cache". There may be even more terms to use, though. Things keep being updated and changed.
The things that were viewed might also be visible when you do those kinds of searches. You also might not have to be in Safe Mode in order to view them.
Without knowing what operating system you have, it's difficult to give you the best advice.
Thanks!
