I have an old coleman electric furnace which is not working properly. The problem is that when the blower will quit when it is supposed to but the heating coils keep heating no matter what I do with the thermostat. I have had to cut the unit off at the breaker to stop the unit from heating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I have also changed the sequencer and the fan relay and it still does the same thing. Please help

The sequencers control the blower and the heater. Something sounds like it is not wired correctly. Revisit your wiring.

Model 3500-816 I check all the wireas everything looks right, but when I unhooked the sequencer from the elment and turn the power on they still come on . I've worked on a lot of comuters and electroinc equiment and I'm don't know what to think of this. I've worked on dryers and I'm not sure what the deal is.
Thanks

Here is the sequencer number you should have used.
3115-3571
Sorry I do not have a manual for that unit. Usually there is one glued to the unit at the factory. Sorry.
