We have a judgement against us and we have not paid it yet. It is with an ex landlord. He has sent us a letter stating that he is going to put a lien on our furniture, any tools, cars, and any household goods we might have. We live in Florida and would like to know if that is even legal since we don't even live in his house any more?

Depends on the state law. Most states allow a lien to be placed on anything with your name on; it may be harder to collect your furniture and household items. It would be easier for him to place a lien on your car or to freeze your bank account, if you have one, or to garnish your wages.

It's legal, and it doesn't matter where you live. What matters is that he has a judgment. The judgment will last for 10 years and he can renew it for another 10. With the judgment, he can attach your bank accounts and garnish your wages. However, it sounds like you have neither.
He probably doesn't want your stuff. But, if you don't pay him cold hard cash, he'll take it.
