I have an older Rockwell 10" radial arm saw that my late father bought approximately 30 years ago. It runs and performs like it did when it was new. However, the powercord that runs from the saw motor to the control box located at the front of the beam is losing its rubber coating. The wire inside appears to be 12-4. The outside diameter is 3/8". I cannot find this type of cord at either the big box home centers or local hardware stores. Help!!

I've sourced replacement cord for old tools from WesBell Electronics (http://www.wesbellwireandcable.com/PortableCord.html) as they seemed to be less expensive than McMaster Carr type suppliers, or else found a cord of proper gauge that I liked on a current power tool and ordered it from the tool manufacturer's service center. Finding 3/8" outside diameter in 12/4 portable cord will be problematic if it must be that size.
