I had a baby in June 2008. I breastfed for a month. When I went to my six week check up I still hadn't got my period. So they gave me medicine to start it. I took birth control for two months (femcon) and stopped using it because of the spotting when I would forget to take it. I didn't get my period for a month. When I did get it, it looks like brown discharge with some blood not at all heavy and last about two weeks! Its been going on for two months! I don't know if this is normal? Oh and also use protection every time I'm intimate. Please!!

Have you talked to your doctor about this? It really is best to tell your doctor what's going on, it could be that the pill he prescribed is too strong, or it could be something else. We really can't give you an accurate diagnosis over the internet.
