Hi,
Based on a recommendation somewhere on here I tried out this sofrware to help find some missing drivers for my sound system. Aside from the fact it didn't help, I now have the problem of the fact it downloads it's home page whenever I first go online. It hasn't hijacked my homepage though.
I can't find it to uninstall. I have run ccleaner several times and avg,but no good.
Any ideas please?

So you have gone to tools and internet options and checked to see that homepage is the one you set? This of course would be for IE.

Do you remember the exact name of the software?

Download and Run hijackThis and post the results

I have the same problem... I even went into it's settings and relocated it to programs. But when I go in to the add/uninstall menu, it doesn't appear therefore making it impossible to uninstall. It can't be deleted either.
I'm not keen on downloading any more dodgy sounding programs (seahwk83) do you or anyone else have any other ideas?
