Every time I cough I get a sharp pain in my head around my right temple. It feels like a blow to the head. Or like when you have a headache. I didn't know if anybody else has experienced this or knows what it may be?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Depending on how old you are, how long has it been going on & other associated symptoms, it might be a good idea to have a check up or discuss this with medically qualified person to get hints about where to go from here.

If you are in older age group, this has been a significant problem for you for a long time and you have a family history of something like this, you might be one of those who might get benefit from brain MRI which may be available for free in New York area, Boston & any big University area when enrolled as volunteer , sometimes they pay you for your time too. Check that out.

Really? Do you know where I can check that out and what the risks are? Im located next to a big University in Indiana, so I don't know for sure if they do that here. I am 19, so not old. This has been going on for about a month!

You are lucky if you are only 19, here first step is to go to your PMD or family doctor and get advice,

For MRI you can check Volunteer section at Craigslist.org near your area, you are less likely to need MRI but your doctor would be the best person to advise you.

Ok, thank you. I was trying to avoid the doctor, but if I can't maybe I should go. Do, you think it might be sinuses?
