how do I do this problem?
4x-3y=12
x+2y=14

Solve the bottom equation for x and sub into the top one. The top one will be entirely in terms of y. Solve away.;)

from any one equation find the value of x keep this value of x in other equation which will give you a quadtric equation in y . Solve for y and again for x.
