Can an attorney put a lien on a homestead property after having a payment agreement set up?
Yes. Is there a Judgment involved?
All the lien does is guarantee that the creditor will be paid - it doesn't mean the creditor is going to take any action.
In homestead States where the property is protected the lien clouds the title and makes a sale very difficult.
