In word 2003 with the 2007 compatibility pack installed one of my users computers but when he tries to type anything it comes up as little capitals and if he hits shift or caps lock it is then normal large capitals does anyone know how to change it to normal text when shift and or caps lock is off?

It appears his default font has changed.

Type some text onto the page, and use the Font menu to make it look the way you want for normal, new documents.

Arial 10 points or Times New Roman 12 points are common choices.

Next, select that formatted text.
On the Format menu, click Font.
Select the options you want to apply to the default

(default: A predefined setting. You can accept the default option settings, or you can change them to suit your own preferences.) font. If you selected text in step 1, the properties you want will appear in the dialog box.
Click Default.
Any new document you open will use the font settings you selected.

There is a second problem where spell check will not spell words correct in word how do you change how it spells them or refere it to default?
