I was with a friend on the wekend and on msn this boy was with two of my other really, really great friends who he has known since he was 5. he said to us that he'd been thinking a lot lately and he had to tell me something - he really likes me (in a love sort of way). Today at school my friends said that he was a bit drunk and one of them was making up loads of excuses as to why he wouldn't mean it. I really want him to because I've known him for just over a year now and I really like him and always have ever since I first met him. I don't know what to do?

For starters. What school are we talking? High school? College? Sounds like trouble to me.

I'm assuming this is true. From experience, most people tell the truth when they are intoxicated. Whether they know it when they aren't drunk, whether consciously or unconsciously, they say what they mean.

Does it matter if he likes you or not? Why don't you take the initiative and tell him you like him and see where it goes from there?

It sounds like you are in middle school where kids need to find out if someone likes them before taking a chance. Everyone has to tell someone else so that it eventually gets back to the two people involved before they decide to start seeing each other more.

Time to take control of your own life and tell him that you like him and would like to spend more time with him and ask him if he feels the same way.

Why wait for the information to come from others, go directly to him.
