A pregnant girl went to prison. Her daughter grows up, is married to a reverand, of some sort, has a daughter and hires a house keeper. The housekeeper is actually her mother and grandmother to the girl; the girl that went to prison. They cover up murders for her. The first 'saving grace' was the nuisance barking neighbor dog that was silenced the first night the new housekeeper arrived.
