Hello I just had a car accident and my boyfriend has been acting very weird and distant, not there for me at all when I have needed him. I have tried to confront him about it but he ignores the situation, however today he wrote this to me: I am sorry you are not well. I have been in my cave again. I totally understand and take full responsibility for my actions that I have not been there for you. I just don' have anything to give. Your current situation is far greater in importance, but I cannot deal with my present state of depression I am unable to function emotionally at the moment and since I do not have a viable outlet, I have gone to my cave. I am a bad person, I admittit. A boyfriend, I am not. You deserve better.

There's a lot of reasons he can be acting like that. Hes probably have a lot going on. Try to ask him if there's something going on at home and if he ignors more than give him a week or two, if he still ignors u than u two may need to separate.
