2 handle Price Pfister kitchen faucet-leaking from faucet (hot water side) nothing idicates the washers are bad. How do I know if the cartridge is bad?

Hi WTF09...

Shut water off and then remove the STEM assembly... see what you can see. Clean washer, interior of valve and stem assembly (pulse water on/off for a second with rag over hot water supply to remove anything that might be caught in line)... then re-install.

If that fails, then off to store to get a new stem unit (bring defective with you) or call manufacturer (number should have come with faucet) and they will send one to you , perhaps overnight, if you ask them nicely enough... ;)
