I eat a lot and I gain the weight but it doesn't look like it and I'm sick and tired of people saying stuff about... its gotten to the point were I'm actually ashamed of my body and I always try to cover up when I go out side even when I go to the beach I always were a top over me... so if any is reading this please help me I want to know why I'm so skinny:(

Hi, Amsly!

Have you been checked out by a doctor for this? And, if you have a nurse at school, have you asked that person about this?

Thanks!

At your age, you're most likely going to go through spurts of growth where you might appear to be skinny. A lot of other people your age will go through the same thing.

What is your height and weight and gender, please? Knowing those things will help those who come along to address your question to help you the best.

Thanks!

I'm naturally skinny and used to face jeolous your anoxeic comments all the time when I was younger. My mother helped me as she was the same (genetics) and gave me some good retorts.

If somebody attacked my physical appearance first I would start civally pointing out that I wasn't mentioning their physical appearance and how would they like it if I called them fat/ a comfort eater/ sluggish metabolism?

I give a couple of warnings and then I'd get a bit nastier- but only to the level they were to me. So if they accused me of a mental health illness I'd do the same.

It's mean but it really gets the point across.

Don't let these people get you down and don't tolerate their comments.

I'm sure some people will disaree with this method but it does work and in a weird way, if you do it with an explanation of this is what you are doing to me then you can actually get (some) people to understand.

I say some because some people never get the point. They are just rude busy bodies.

Oh I forget to to say it's all in how you phrase it so don't go

Oh but your just fat

Say: How would you feel if I called you fat?

Never directly call them anything (that's unproductive) just sugest how it would make them feel if you did.

I have a friend that is 19 now and very very skinny I do believe she is only 98 pounds and very tall and the docs gave her some meds to help her gain weight but not too much weight so I think you should go to the docs

You should go to the doctors just in case to make sure that everything is fine,

But I was like that in high school, people asked if I ever ate.. I never wanted to work out because I would lose more weight.

Once I got to college in my second year, I started to look more womanly.. but to this day I'm still considered petite.. but I'm very glad for my genetics..

You will be glad eventually.. sometimes it takes the body a little more time to mature.. once you do, you will be grateful for your genes. All your classmates that called you anerexic will be nice and round and fat by the time you mature and look your best, they will be eating their words

There are 3 basic body types, Endomorph, Ectomorph and Mesomorph. You are an Ectomorph. Here is some information you might want to read through: different body types - ectomorph, mesomorph, endomorph - diet and workout (http://www.intense-workout.com/body_types.html)

Hi again, Amsly!

In an earlier post, I asked what your height, weight and gender was. You didn't respond to that. If you don't want to, that's fine. However, if you do provide that information, it would help those who do answer to be able to give you the most educated answers in order to help you the best.

Thanks!
