Hi, wanting to hook up an electric baseboard heater using a single Pole Electric Wall
Mounted Switch. Is there a good diagram to show proper hook up?

Wire the switch in series with the thermostat.
If the thermostat is mounted in the heater, unhook the wire on the thermostat that leads to the element, and in it's place, run a "loop" circuit wire (a two conductor wire to the switch)
On this two conductor wire, in the heater, connect the black wire to the thermostat, then connect the white wire to the wire leading to the element, wrap some black tape around the end of the white wire so nobody thinks it's a neutral.
In the switch box, connect the black wire to one terminal, and the white to the other, again, wrap some black tape around the white wire in the switch box.
Using the configuration, both the thermostat and the switch will have to be in the "on" posistion and the thermostat will have to be calling for heat.
Make sure you use a switch and wire that is rated for the amps that the heater will be drawing.
I omitted mentioning any ground wires for simplicity, but as always connect all ground wires to there respective ground terminals.
