Hello Everyone, My boyfriend of 2 years was born with Hypospadias, where the hole or pee hole is located farther down the shaft, he had a severe case and was located near the very bottom of his penis, he had 3 surgerys when he was a child to move the hole farther up. Its still not on the top but is just below the head, I was wondering if this might affect our chances of having a child together, we have been trying for over a year and nothing. Please anything would be helpful.

It's IF he ejaculates and IF his sperm are viable, not where the "pee hole" is located.

And how is that helpful to my question.

I was just wondering if anyone knows our chances, or if anyone else has this or is with someone with this that has had a child.

It explains that WHERE the "pee hole" is does not matter; pregnancy depends on if he ejaculates and if the sperm are viable.

It doesn't affect your chances atall, the hole is still connected to his urethra which will be connected to his testes

Eelarch, thank you, I'm just really confused, his doctor said it may have some effect, some specialist said the same thing, but I'm hearing so many different answers.

well there is only one way to tell, try for a baby =]

even though you know you are trying for a baby , try and make it relaxed and romantic that way the stress levels are lower so more chance of fertilisation

Its dumb to give me a reddie on my own question, the whole reason I'm here is to learn about it, so of course I won't know everything

Umm actually I did get pregnant a while back, and I had a miscarriage, just before I did I found out there was something wrong with his heart, that it wasn't eveloping, So after I miscarried I went on a hunt to try and understand things better. That's when I learned of Hypospadias, and the debate about wherther it affects fertility and affect on miscarriage rate.

These two post by you do not match up. Below you claim to have lost a baby and above you claim you do not know if you can have a child together?
