Why don't credit cards have pins just like the debit cards for purchase/transactions? In this way if the card is lost or if the card is swiped at hotels/shops, it will be safer.

The PIN is required on a debit card because you can get cash back with it.  Credit card charges are reversible if the card is lost or stolen; cash isn't.

Yeah good point try not to carry around your card unless you plan on buying something expensive (£100+)
 
That wwill make you feel safer and you know that because you only have cash on you, they can't steal anything else
