Yes, I am the owner of a small consignment shop and I would like to mix it with some thrift store items, People is wanting to give me things to put in the store and not to consign them,
I want to know how to go about doing a consignment/thrift store, I believe a for profit thrift store would be better for the consignment store, do I just go to the courthouse and add it to my business license or do I have to get an attorney,
To write up the plans, I need help is this area and can it be done.
Im thinking that the part that I receive in consignment could go straight into the account with the thrift and when for profit buyers buy for the for-profit thrift stores it would be just like me buying with the consignment part, because 50% of that goes to the consignor.
I hope I didn't make this confusing.
But I see where it can be done, just don't know how to go about it.
Thank you

If this is a profit business, why do you have to do anything expect expand into the added business,

If you were going to try and be a non profit, then it makes a big difference

Hi, Gracescloset!

If other people are wanting to put items in your store that are not on consignment, is it you or they who are looking to make a profit on them, please?

Thanks!
