Most people who get played trust to easily or to guickly, they let their heart and desires overrule their common sense and the notion of letting people earn their trust over time.

Everyone gets played, the trick is to not volunteer to get played again, learn from this experience and remember; most people no matter how sincere want something from us whether they know it or not.

You have to ask yourself, is what that person is offering in return true; and can you trade what they want, for what you want, from them?

Just keep in mind the player is the fool. He let go of a great catch like you. You're too good for fools. You deserve better

Well that sucks but in all cases if they're nothing you can do then just move on. That crap is sometimes not worth your time. Just try not to make the same mistake again.
