View Full Version : Beginner Yoga poses?

I am looking for a way to tone my body and muscles(but not make them huge), and reduce stress. I have friends who do yoga.

If this helps, I am a young woman, not overweight, I just have no body tone. I am in my house most of the day, and could spend 30 minutes to an hour on this.


I was wondering if anyone knew and good beginner poses for me to look up and start with.

Here's a good one: get on all fours on the ground and lift your left arm straight out in front of you and R-E-A-C-H and then reach out your right leg straight out behind you and R-E-A-C-H and suck your tummy in at the same time, and then switch, using your right arm and left leg.
