Hi everyone!
This is my story/question:
One year ago, my best buddy (aged 22) started working in a restaurant in my town (he lives a couple of miles away). Half a year ago, he had a sexual relation with a colleague (aged 23), nothing emotional, just sexual.
During this time, he introduced the girl to me (aged 21) and the other mates. And I started to go eat in this restaurant quite regularly. A month later, he and the girl stopped having this affaire, but they remained close friends.
About three months ago, I started to go out with this girl. My buddy knew we were going out, and he had no problems with that.
Since then, this girl and me go out (just the two of us) at least once a week. And even when we're not going out, I go to the restaurant where they work, right before closing time. After that, me, my buddy and this girl go to a pub of over to her place (she's got her own place, me and my buddy live with our parents).
Most of the time, my buddy leaves prior to me, because he lives farther away. So me and this girl end up talking all night. She often tells me, she can talk much better with me than my buddy.
She also sends me text messages several times a day, calls me almost everyday, asks me to go walk her dog together,. As you might notice, we get along very good :-)
I should note that she also goes out with my best buddy every two weeks, and also regularly sends him text messages (plus the time they spend working together in the restaurant)
I'm a fulltime singer/songwriter and she loves my music and lyrics. And when I showed her a new lyric I was working on (quite romantic lyric), she begged me to finish it as fast as possible. So two days later, I showed her the finished lyric. It's needless to say that this lyric was highly based on my feelings for her. I'm also sure she knows this; yet, she was blown away by it. (I know, cliché, as a musician, it happens all the time that girls are attracted thanks to music)
I already told her twice I really like her, both of the times being really drunk. Yet, both times, when I woke up the following morning she just messaged me "It's alright, you were quite drunk, weren't you ;-) " So I think she's quite comfortable with it, and she still asks me to go out every other day.
Do you think I should tell her how much I really like her? Because I'm still too afraid she might back up, letting our friendship pass away, and most of all: risking some problems between me and my best buddy...
Thanks in advance
