In a nutshell...

No definitive large bowel mass is seen

There was not a mass (tumor) seen in the colon

Liver lesion seen – suggestive of metastasis.

There was a lesion (abnormal tissue) that suggests that the colon cancer had spread to the liver.

The mesentry and omentum is straded.

This is caused by inflammation of the mesentery. This is the portion of the bowel that anchors the small intestine to the back of the abdominal wall.

In essence, it basically means that the cancer he had is no longer in the colon, but, unfortunately has most likely spread to the liver. HOWEVER, most likely a liver biopsy will be needed to confirm this.

Please understand that what I am saying is in NO way a diagnosis, and I cannot, in any way, be held liable as such. I am only attempting to interpret what you have written here. For a proper diagnosis you would have to speak with his doctor.

Without knowing your father's complete medical history, and without being able to review the chart, I am only going by what you wrote here, and the info I have given may be incorrect dependent upon a number of factors.
