hello can anyone help me please. Basically a few weeks ago my house was rewired and since then my 19 month old daughter has been giving me electric shocks evertime I give her a kiss if she has any milk round her mouth.
I no it probably sounds strange but could the new electrics be the cause.
thanks x:confused:

Nope 30+ in the trades
Here's my thoughts.
The house is getting dryer and the static from clothing and carpet is creating the electoral charge when you or your daughter moves around and then builds up static electoral winter drys The air.in the house gets dryer . A wire in a house cannot bother you uless direct contact and that will make you jump or kill you
The wet milk acts as a coudoit to transfer those charges stored and then its de energized by a kiss in a wet environment MILK
Static electricity is the only charge I know that stored on clothing and the body. A.C. current does not behave that way.

That doesn't sound like it could be you're wiring to me but I guess anything is possible.
What kind of shocks?? Like static electricity?? Please keep in mind that static electricity can increase with the cold weather. Also what is she wearing something wool or cotton that could produce static?

What do you mean by "re-wired"? A complete re-wire of the circuits, or simply a service change/upgrade?
