View Full Version : Babes of AMHD 2009 calendar

JudyKayTee
Jan 5, 2009, 11:54 AM
I think a "Babes of AMHD" calendar featuring members would be a good idea. The finished calendar could be sold to buy new furniture for the lounge to replace that shabby, plastic stuff.

If enough "babes" don't volunteer we could open it up to the "studs of AMHD." Or maybe print a separate calendar. I'm thinking men in tool belts, that sort of thing (depending on the person's expertise, of course).

I'm thinking Ben and Mrs Ben could share a month.

So far "Alty" has been selected to do a fake fur bikini and one of those fake-fur lined hats with the earflaps in honor of Canada hold a rabbit (or two); Starby's been selected for October (but no outfit has been selected). I'm not sure they're actually aware they've been selected so let's hope they don't read this.

Any thoughts? Any volunteers?

Can I wear my raccoon hat and coat? Or just my raccoon outfit? Or just my raccoon (live that is)? You know, the one that Brad Pitt nudged out of the food bowl on my porch the other night?

Ah, I take that back. Can I wear my gymnosophy outfit and pose for June's photo?

Okay, you're in for June in your gymnosophy outfit. But isn't it half a gymnosophy outfit? The lower half, as I recall, which is fine, because we're trying to sell calendars here. I was hoping you would pose next to one or two racoons. It's okay if they have all their clothes on.

And, speaking of Brad Pitt, I probably haven't posted this before but I look just like Angelina Jolie, except I am blonde and have a better body. Unforunately I can't figure out how to post photos so you'll just have to believe me.

"We" are hoping he will actually BE in the calendar. I am thinking thong and handcuffs. Or maybe not the handcuffs.

Or maybe not the thong and a strategically placed - I don't know, golf ball, baseball, basketball. I have no personal knowledge in this particular, umm, area, so I don't really know what is, umm, required.

Or maybe he could hold one of the rabbits or racoons.

Now that you've appeared to volunteer excon's services, which month will you be signing up for?

I'm a Scorpio. Is November taken?

I figured excon would be holding things for the photographer. Would there be a group shot for one of the months, or maybe for the cover?

Excellent - a group shot. Excellent. I hadn't thought about the cover yet OR the group shot. This calendar may have to cover (pardon the pun) both 2009 AND 2010.

Gee, can I wear my balogna perfume? I've convinced my Jack Russell Dinky to let me borrow some of hers. Or maybe I'll use the sardine perfume instead. Oh, and my top half of my gymnosophy outfit is rather large (thought you'd like to know) so there will be no closeup shots available of me. Just a long shot with the two coonies held over strategic spots of my gymnosophy suit.

Before you start spraying sardine perfume on yourself keep in mind that I - as booking agent - have arranged for several animals (so far dogs, racoons and rabbits) to actually be on the set. Now, I don't know exactly which animals are attracted to the smell of sardines but I think I would research the subject carefully if I were you.

Will we need small coonies or large coonies - just so I know what to order. Or will you be bringing your own?

I am already aware it could be dangerous to wear carrot perfume with the rabbits hanging around.

I am still thinking about my costume and I still haven't picked a month.

twinkiedooter
Jan 6, 2009, 05:47 PM
We'll need the extra large jumbo sized coonies like Big Daddy (he's a porker) and Stretch Armcoon (she's a porker also). I'll bring them both and wear some of the exotic sardine scent. I don't need any carrot scent as the bunnies could get rowdy.

I was thinking of borrowing Nazda's wolf, Lady, but she's so big that she would definitely be overkill and might eat some of the bunnies as snacks. She does like diesel perfume also as well as the sardine scent but her ultimate favorite is salmon in hot sauce perfume. Now that's refreshing I'm told.

Is this going to be a catered affair as well? Free eats or is there a cover charge involved here?

It depends upon what you intend to wear while baking. Twinkie is in charge of refreshments so maybe you could do the spread AND bake refreshments at the same time. Try to work carrots into the recipe because it appears we will have a plethora of carrots (I've always wanted to use "plethora" in a sentence).

I am going to do a Columbo-type spread. Sunglasses and a raincoat.

But what month?

Between the rabbit costume and the rabbits in the spread, yes, we will have a plethora of slightly used carrots. (See, I used "plethora" a second time.) Perhaps carrot cake?

There were no formal invitations - it's on a volunteer basis. You must, however, submit your costume idea and the month of your choice.

So far I think we have three Julys and no Junes, but I am flexible and if that's how it has to be, so be it.

Oh, your costume can't include holding live rabbits or live raccoons - those ideas are already taken.

I totally forgot I was in charge of the free eats.

Okay, so how does some lucious macaroni and Velveeta sound to everyone? Ok, OK, too fatening. So how about some Ramen Soup in various flavors sound? Well, my raccoons love Ramen Soup any flavor. Ok, OK, not fancy schmancy enough. So how about some yummy Beef Wellington? I'll just whip up a batch for the entrée and figure out what to have as the horderveres. Say some snails in their shells, oysters on the half shell, or shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque maybe?

Got to have some food input here gals or if I'm left to my own devices it's going to be macaroni and Velveeta..!

And I'm only going to be able to pose properly if excon does my body make up. I'm rather adamant about that. If he does not do it --- I'm not posing for June, so there - regardless of how many TV and movie offers I get for nude shots or poses. Maybe excon's going to wear his scruples. Now that's something we definitely need to get a picture of for the Men's Extravaganza Calendar for the Men's Lounge to get some real he-man furniture instead of the teensey metal folding chairs they now have over there.

Twinkie is arranging for food. (From what she's planning, yes, I'd bring my own.)

She may or may not be in charge of liquid refreshments. If she is not, yes, you can take care of that. I only drink white wine. Keep that in mind. (Red gives me a headache.)

You will not be getting the dolphin. You WILL be photographed strategically juggling rabbits so I would bring my own. (It just occurred to me that you have both rabbits AND a beagle. Both of them in the same shot would work for me.) Remember - we are trying to sell calendars here and aren't necessarily going for prim and proper.

Ok, I was going to have some bubbly water. You know the stuff they call champagne, you know some of that Dom Perignon stuff in the funny big bottles. They're having a clearance special on this down at the Quickee Mart and I'm going to stock up for this shin dig. The regular price was $225 a bottle marked down to $10.99 a bottle. Now that's a real savings I can't overlook. I hear it goes well with macaroni and Velveeta garnished with lots of carrots or do you think the cashier was pulling my leg? Let me know how many bottles to scarf up. Say 40 or 50 should do us for starters?

twinkiedooter
Jan 19, 2009, 10:14 AM
Also, we can have this shindig at my house. There is a huge meadow just off my back porch. I'll give you all the directions on how to get here. First you go to Cleveland, take a left, go southwest 35 miles and I'm the 10th house from the golf course clubhouse. Call me if you get lost or just look for all the cars parked in front of my house. Can't miss my house as I have a huge 10X20' Budweiser flag flying at half mast for my dearly departed husband.

No, still the 2 lardo raccoons for my costume and the body paint done my maestro excon.

I'm off to the store to scarf up all the DP bottles in the inventory. Gee, they look like the right bottles with the right labels on them. I'll break open a bottle and let you know if I got ripped off or not. Got to taste test. Well, someone's got to do it and I guess I'm elected! I'll call Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs and ask him if he can help me out here.
