Ok, so I found out that my money is still in the system. Problem is it's not in my name. I need to write a letter and have it notarized. Anyone have any ideas?

This OK?

I *blank* am signing this to allow *blank county* to release the bond to *me*.

Signed *blank*; date

Now the issue is what happens if she does not sign it. The money is mine but they signed the forms not me. And if they don't after I tell them they could go claim the money.

Details!! Would love to help you write it but I have no idea what I am writing about.

What money? What system? Why are you writing the letter?

The more details the better.

Huh? It sounds a bit like you are going after someone else's money too?

My thoughts exactly Val.

Suggestion to BSI...

Don't use "blank" and "blank county". Make up a name and a county, it is easier for us to read, and follow.

Plus, more details!

I will assume this reflects their previous post, I have cut and pasted it below

History. Loaned 1500 to a friend's friend for bail. Stupidly checked box for them to use money for court expenses if need be. Court day came and I wasn't able to make it and my money was used for the tickets etc... Now I want my money back and the person refuses to pay me. Question is do I serve both of them or just real borrower? I have nothing written down and only have the court papers for the case in which my money was used.

And no, you can write letters to you are blue in the face, and they will only release the money to the person who signed for it and paid it.
If you are on record for the bond, then you will need to go in person to the court and request your money.

Sorry, yes, this is in reference to the earlier thread.

Anyway, I'll just do it on my own. I called the courts and spoke to all of the required people. I can get the money released to me as long as I have a notirized letter stating that they are OK with that. All I need is their signature. The 'other person' did sign for it after getting my money.

Getting the signature should not be a problem since this is the money that is owed to me that they could not pay because of no resources.
