Can someone please provide me with a valid website regarding our rights as custodial grandparents of our grandson? We live in PA.
Thanks and have a good evening!
Cath:)

Please explain "custodial" do you have legal custody from the court at that point, if so, then you have custody regardless of your relationship. And it is that custody order that gives you your rights.

Hi cbourner,
Here are a couple of websites I was able to find. Your best bet would be to contact a Family Lawyer in the city where you live.
Pittsburgh Grandparents Rights Lawyer - PA Grandparent's Partial Custody Attorney - Law Firm Lisa Marie Vari &Associates, P.C. Attorneys Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (http://www.pafamilylawyers.com/CM/FamilyLawPractice/FamilyLawPractice57.asp)
DivorceNet - Grandparents Custodial Rights (http://www.divorcenet.com/states/pennsylvania/pa_art13)
Good luck to you.

Chuck, to clarify, we have full custodial rights.
Then I don't understand your question. If you already have full physical custody, what rights are you asking about?
I don't understand why your Attorney, presumably familiar with your case and all of the circumstances, isn't answering these questions for you and/or is leaving you so unprepared for your early February hearing.

Yes, grandparents rights don't apply if you have full legal custody. Grandparents rights are visitation rights if the parent will not allow you visits.
