Help please! I installed a new sink in my bathroom and I changed part of the PVC drain pipe so it would fit the new sink. The problem that I'm having is when I drain the water from the sink it make a drumming sound at the end. Can someone help?

Please explain drumming sound better. Does it gurgle or bubble. At the end of what. Where it goes in the wall? Changed part the pipe what part and what was the actual change.
Did it drain well before the change and does it drain well now
I know it sounds like I'm busting you chops but to just stab at this need better description, A drumming to you may be different to me. Is it a drain pipe in the wall gurgling?

The drumming sound- tap--- tap--- tap-- tap-taptaptap
Yes, it gurgles bubbles at the sink.

At the end: about 7 seconds after the water completely drained from the sink that when the drumming starts
When I installed the new sink it didn't line up with the drain pipe so I had to make the pipe coming from the wall longer

Yes, it drain well before and it drain well now, just the tapping sound

Thanks,

Thanks for the better decriptions You have a partial clog and the venting is strugling and that's could be that sound. Like turning a big water bottler upside down and the bump sound. The pipe commong from the wall longer is it sloped properly? If not that could eaisly be a partial trap and now you have a double trap and slow sink drain and its fighting each other for air flow woth the water. Check the fall on the added pipe and how long is that pipe?
