I got a Epox 8k7a+. I just installed a AMD Duron 1300 and started up. The power comes on, the fan runs, but there is no monitor coming on.. The CPU stays cold (I guess no power). So I installed then a Duron 1600 and got the same reaction. The MoBo LCD gives me a FF code right at startup wich suppositly means fully functional. So,. what could be the probem. Something I am doing wong or something in the Hardware is gone bad.. Somebody please help me out.

Is there a second power lead to the MOBO that needs plugging in to power the CPU?

Or re-seat the cpu by taking it out and putting it back in again, could be a MOBO problem if this does not fix it
