HEY EVERYONE!

I'm 17, and I'm 5'8', and waaaay over what I should be for weight.
Ive been struggling with it for a long time, and I need to tone it up.
I have a hard time being motivated with diets because I'm planning on being a chef, soooo, that's difficult. I also have a hard time going to the gym and working out.

IF I CAN, I'd like to keep my butt and my breasts... and just lose my love handles, and a little bulk off my thighs.
I've tried side sit-ups, russian twists, air squats and many many more, but I just haven't seen much of a result.

TRAINERS, ANYONE WITH Success, PLEASE HELP.

Im sick of having to wear jackets and sweatshirts..

Hi juicylucy, sometimes the simplest activities, the ones that are healthy for us are overlooked and are actually the best. I jog and walk, have a small step walker for resistance training and that is all I have ever needed. As for cooking, well I am an excellent cool who enjoys cooking and eating and my weight has always stayed where I want it to be by just the simple activities, which don't cost anything, only time, I also belong to the Dragonboat club in town which keeps my activity level quite high during the summer months. That one I have to be pay for (tuition to the club).

I have never had to join a gym, working out in a confined space just doesn't appeal to me. I prefer open air.

As a cook, you should know well what a portion looks like and what's fattening and what's healthy. Use your knowledge. And the exercise you'v listed are great, but you have to give it time as with any kind of training, don't quit, you may not see instant results but with time and the correct combination of food and exercise you can make it happen.:D

Hi, Juicylucy

Running is properly one of the best work outs, train yourself up to 3 miles on a 3 times a week build it up to 6 days a week program it will take you about 30min when you start to get fitter.

Here is a good link for calculating your cal burn I like the cleaning ones. Don't expect result the first 2 weeks. The 2 first weeks is the initial endurance training, then week 3 the result starts to show.
