I will give you my best tutorial on how to build a pan. How to Build a Shower Pan (http://www.hoagy.org/house/HowToBuildShowerPan.html) However, I need to caution you that this is not a first time DIY project fror most folks. Have you considered a prefab pan like a Swanstone, much easier. Swanstone Products (http://www.theswancorp.com/index.php?cat=4&attr=78) You can also buy a partially constructed pan and tile it after installation. Hey Spike! I'm a old timey plumber. I've formed shower pans out of sheet lead, Blue Compaseal Plastic, copper and once out of some sort of fiber sheeting coated with tar. I'll give you instructions if you'll give me the reason that you want to pan out in copper. I haven't paned one out in copper for a long time.
The reason is the initial cost of sheet copper against Blue Compaseal, (The material we were using when I retired) and the fact that Blue Compaseal will outlast copper every time. Now for your reasons? Cheers, Tom
