We have a Coleman electric furnace in our mobile home. Mobile home is approx. 12-13 years old. The furnace seems to blow cold air out all the time, if it is warm it is barely warm. The thermostat can not be set higher than 80 it just stops. I am tired of being cold all the time. Does anyone have any idea what can be wrong with this thing? And having a vent next to my bathtub blowing cold air is not a nice relaxing bath. :( Thanks for any help you can give me. S.G.

Could be several things,, do you have a multimeter? And know how to use it? First thing if its running OK but not heating I would check for power going to the heating elements, if power check continuity on each element to see if you might have a broken/non-working element

The link below is a mobile home site that has a great crew of furnace experts. They also have any part you need in stock and can ship them to you directly. Mobile home electric furnaces are not very different than regular home furnaces but the gas furnaces are many times a lot different.

Post under the Coleman heading on the page. One other thing you might find the site interesting for other items besides furnaces. They discuss mobile home ownership and have a lot of neat projects others have done to there home.
