There's a guy who went to my school and I had a lot of classes with him and we got to know each other really well. During this time I had a crush on him but halfway through the first semester he transferred to a different school and I thought hey since he's leaving I can focus on other guys but one of my best friends is his as well and they hang a lot so I ended up seeing him more than when we went to school together, and we have become really good friends and I have started to like him more and more but there is one big problem he is still hung up on another girl. I kind of want to get over him very badly but I don't know how and a part of me wants to still like him because he is such a great guy

If he's a great guy, then he is worth waiting for. Do not get involved with a guy that is hung up on someone else. You will get hurt.

How do you know he's hung up on another girl? A lot of times guys say they are to get attention from the girl they really like.. anyway, if that's not the case than you should def. wait and see what happens, don't look for someone to like, because sooner or later he might just come around ;).

Does he even know that you like him? You could wait around if you want to, but how long are you planning to wait? What if you miss out on meeting a really great guy because you're waiting for him?

He doesn't know that I like him, and is there anything I could do to help him get over the girl faster, and yeah I'm sure that he is still hung up on her

But he's dating the girl who he has been hung up on so there is nothing I can do or want to do because he is so happy now
