It won't let me ask question in heating and air conditioning. It keeps referring me to register or login which I did but it still won't do anything when I click on ask button. I need help with electric baseboard heater. It is 59 degrees in my house and temp is set to 69. It is -8 outside. We replaced 8 foot heater in livingroom that electrician said is shuting off intermittently. First he said it was working fine. Voltage output is fine. That new heater is still only lukewarm not hot. We have thermostat in livingroom and kitchen. Kitchen heater only 1 year old runs lukewarm and is 59 in there also. New livingroom one is lukewarm but thermostat controls diningroom too and that one is hot. What is wrong? We also have no cold water in kitchen faucet. This happened a week ago when we had electrician out. But luckily warmed up enough to get water back. Toni

The only true way to find out what is going on is to check the circuits to the heaters with a meter. You need a meter and know how to use it to be able to test and find out why the heater is not performing as intended. There is no magic cure for this type of problem. Sorry.
