The furnace ran fine in the morning but some time in the afternoon it stopped. Details: Not sure of brand (didn't see a name when I went into attic). Supposed to be about 10 years old. Does not have a pilot but an "ignition system". When I set the thermostat and turn to "on" position, you can hear the heater start up and you can hear a "click" (igniter?) but you never hear the "whoosh" of the burners and the air never flows. The heater stays on maybe 5 minutes then shuts down. Sorry for the lack of details. Any ideas appreciated. (Gas hasn't been turned off as the water heater and fireplace work fine). Thanks!

It`s very important to know the brand and model number. in order for us to tell you what to look for., you need to get up close and personal, to see the igniter to know for sure,, also to see/hear the inducer motor come on and run,, to hear if the gas valve is opening or trying to open,, let us know,, will be glad to try and help,, inside behind the door should be a tag or label with name and model number
