Had the heater on today and noticed it getting very hot. Was well over set temp but did not shut off. Turned unit to off blower continued? Switched to cool and A/C came on but when reach temp A/c shut off but blower continued??

Did the wires on the thermo and still did not turn off?

Any other suggestions?

Check the fan / limit switch and wire connections.
