I have read all the books so naturally I didn't believe the Twilight movie was as good as the book. I am a DIE HARD twilight fan. The books are beautifully written and I believe the love depicted between Bella and Edward was not displayed through the movie. I heard people saying the movie was garbage etc. but you have to read the books to understand their love, which in my opinion, was poorly displayed through the movie. What do you guys think of this movie? Especially need to hear from other people that have read the book(s) from the Twilight saga.

I agree that the books are wonderfully written and I am also a die hard twilight fan. I like the movie , but I didn't think they added all the very important details that were in the book. I also thought that the special effects were cheesy. But all in all I liked the movie but thought the book was 10 times better:D:D:D:D:D

I really loved the books and pretty much hated the movie! If you had never read the books, you would be TOTALLY lost! I was still kind of lost even though I DID read the books! I thought it was bad acting, bad script... bad everything. Yuck.

I love them both, books and film, *hence the name :P* I think it was wonderful, the romance, then thrilling vampires, and the chills you get sent down your spine, it was all the qualities of a great movie/script/story writer x

There was not enough violence in the film :)
I haven't read the books though.

I've read all the Twilight series and am a die hard fan. I read it when it first came out (so don't think I'm one of those poser people who didn't care until it became a movie) I completely agree with you, the movie was lacking serious emotion and it didn't help that they twisted it a little. I believe if you're going to make a movie from a book then you should stick to how it was originally meant to be. Some of the characters didn't make sense either I hated they guy that played Edward, he was ugly James was hotter, and I don't think he has an talent as an actor. I was really disappointing in the twilight movie.

I thought the movie was good but the books were better if I hadn't read the books though the movie would have been awesome.

I watched the movie, thought it was OK but heard the books where way better so I have just finished reading the last one "Breaking Dawn"...

The books are wayyyy better than the film, it misses out loads. If anyone reading this hasn't read the books I recommend them

Directors always mess up movies compared to the books. Like harry potter and lord of the rings. I've actually read all the twilight gooks and love them but the movie didn't do it justice. I heard the second one 'new moon' was supposed to come out during the summer

I read the books and I was still lost in the film. I thought the movie was extremely disappointing. I don't like the books but I always thought they would make great films. I was mistaken.

The acting was really poor, especially Kristen Stewart she seemed to force her acting. The characters were uninteresting because it jumped so quickly to their FULL introduction that it felt there was no point in keep watching. Rob scared me rather than "seduced me" with his intense stare and the direction was poor in the intimate moments between Bella and Edward. I thought some points the acting was exaggerated by Rob... A LOT.

I have to say that I enjoyed the Cullens a lot (not including Edward) and I loved the Baseball scene, but that was all I liked in the film. I'm sure that the reason must be the budget. I know twilight had a very low budget for a semi-fantasy movie, so maybe nest movie they'll have more money to have more shots of a scene and more and better scenes to choose from.

I watched a couple of interviews with Rob Pattinson on YouTube the other day (he's fair funny) and I'm was surprised at how many fans he has in America... seriously... its mental! They are literally going mad for him, I think a lot of them are convinced he is actually Edward Cullen haha
