I'm sorry but because of your age - you are, of course, underage - I suspect you will not get a lot of assistance on this board.

Have you talked to your mom about this? I don't know what the details surrounding your situation are but I'd like to share my own experience.

My paternal grandfather walked out on my grandmother, my dad and my uncle when my dad was only 4 years old and nobody has heard from him since. Growing up, no one in my family ever talked about him; I always wondered where he was, what he was like, what he looked like, etc. Even though I loved my grandfather, who adopted my dad and my uncle, I still had a desire to meet my blood relative. However, I got much older and learned that he had been verbally, physically and emotionally abusive to his family - to the point that he refused to give my grandmother money for groceries.
