Hi Friends,

One quick question, My baby is 5 week old... and I am doing massage everyday with Johnson Baby oil (face & Baby ) but I found that my baby's skin becoming darker day by day...
Can anyone suggest some good baby massage oil/lotion (may be herbal) which will not affect baby's skin complexion..

Thanks in advance as always...

Years ago it was quite common, and some people prefer to use different lotions or oils, but the usual recommendation is not to use anything... the less "stuff" you put on baby's skin the better as some babies will have very sensitive skin and in most cases, nothing is necessary.
If you do want to use something, there are a number of product lines that offer chemical free products. Read the labels... if you don't know what the ingredient is, or can't even pronounce it, might not be best to use on baby!

A few popular ones that tend to be gentle are:

Seventh Generation
California Baby
Sweet Pea

In what way are you thinking the complexion needs to be improved? You may be seeing what is quite normal for young babies... blotchiness, small spots with white heads, flaky skin on hands or feet, etc. are all very common as their systems continue to mature. If these are some of what you are seeing, they require no intervention.
Depending on your's and baby's father's complexions and genetic background you may also see changes in coloring as well.
