I'm an 18 year old girl. My boyfriend and I had sex on December 5th(unprotected, we were both virgins... ), my period was due on the 7th or 8th. He didn't pull out. My period is late and I still haven't gotten it. Although, I did have some LIGHT spotting for about a day. And my breasts have been extremely sore the past week or two, and my head has been hurting, and I've also been getting some bad abdominal pains and some slight nausea. I took a pregnancy test about 5 days after we had sex... And it was negative. I tried to retake one this morning, but I don't think it was working, because I pee'd on the stick and nothing came up after the 2 minutes I was supposed to wait. And it was the kind that is supposed to say 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant', so I think it was broken...
Any help would be great...

You took the pregnancy test too early. Wait another week or two than try again.

My Suggestion to u is that u have another test for reconfirmation... and instead of peeing on the stick.. u have to take urine in some container and then dip a stick for a while n then wait for one min n let it dry then u'll get the correct result...
And early in the morning when u'll wake up u go to the washroom... then the first urine u take in a container this will give u more accurate result...
Any ways.. Good day.

Try not to panic... odds are you aren't pregnant but obviously you do need to retest. Some women will find sex near the time of their period does throw it off a bit. If you are pregnant, a test at this time will most likely pick it up. If negative, see what happens when your period is next due.
